Home Sweet Home

Long time no see, I know, but there is a good reason for it: I was hella busy with school projects and other personal matters. Between tests, film analysis, and short films to make, I had no time whatsoever to spend writing here; and on top of that I moved out.

I never really liked January, I don't know why, but it's usually filled with bad vibes, so I decided that if I were to come back here, it had to be in February; so, soon as I settled and got some free time, I sat down to write this post.

Usually, the only good things about January is the New Year's party and that it dies eventually. You see, this is the month in which all my teachers want to see the results of the semester's work, so I end up having to send them a bunch of short films/scenes, written assignments and to take tests all at the same time.

Just this past week, I had to go deliver a paper to a teacher at the same time I had to be in a presentation for another class (which I missed because I was in a whole different building in another class), and just a couple hours later I had to shoot a scene for Cinematography class at the same time I took a test for Film Analysis; I also had to deliver another paper and I should present it, but I didn't because my understanding professor allowed me to leave earlier since I was moving within the next few hours. That Tuesday was the epitome of my #January. It was also my favourite January day, since it was the day it ended.

The only other fun thing about this January was the making of a short film for my Cinematography class, which you can watch here. It's kinda low quality because my camera sucks balls and I don't own a tripod, but I did my best with the resources I had; and I had a blast dressing up my best friend and shooting in those ruins.

Anyway! I figured I should come over here and at least let you know that I'm still alive and still around, and looking forward to post here ☺
